Keep your eyes and mouth closed while washing hair. If the color comes to contact with your eyes, immediately rinse your eyes with water. Ensure proper care avoiding flow of color into the eyes. Product not to be used for coloring the eyelashes or eyebrows. The color can be safely used now, if no reddening, burning, itching or swelling is seen in or around the test area. After 24 hours, wash the patch with soap and water. Apply the mixture on the cleansed area and allow it to dry Mix a small quantity of the color powder with 1-2 drops of water. Wash and dry a small area behind the ear using soap and water. Massage around the hairline to avoid staining on skin. Leave the paste for 15 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water. 
Apply the paste evenly from roots to end of hair with the help of brush and focus on grey areas
