Not good, had to clean the head four times to get a good test result and you can see how much ink your wasting in the new ink tank. I wondered at this point what would happe n if after installing these non standard items, the printer didn't print correctly or not at all? All fitted in OK, so now to do a print head test print out. So when it all arrived I started to install them. Ordered a continuous ink system for it as this would be more cost effective, along with a waste ink tank to avoid problems with the ink pads overflowing. Two of the ink cartridge's were empty and two more were flashing low, so no printing today!. Read the manual to make sure I installed the drivers Etc correctly, now switch it on and start printing, NO!. A tedious and annoying time waster, when all you want to do is get it working.
Bought this second hand Epson R1800 printer about a month ago now, it's only done light work so should be fairly like new? Before first connecting it up I had to find the Epson Website and download the drivers and manual, as the installation disc was not supplied with it.
